Summer cleaning update

A brief update about recent changes.

I originally planned this post as part of a “spring cleaning” project started with the best of intentions.

I grabbed my keyboard, fired up the editor, and started putting ideas into markup. And then I needed to verify a few things. Ran into a few false start roadblocks. Started chasing side thoughts. Tried following up new questions.

So many grand ideas and plans. Heh.

Things took longer than I thought they would. Some internals were more complicated than I imagined. And, of course, I had other things demanding my attention.

I am happy to report that the spring summer cleaning update has been rolled out.

Changes include:

  • Index page generation has been reworked. Current behavior is closer to my original vision. (It’s still not quite as flexible as I would like, so I’ll keep refining things in the background.)

  • A few key CSS glitches have been ironed out.

  • More articles have been added.

  • Lots of typos have been fixed. (More have likely been introduced. Le sigh)

The site remains a work-in-progress, but I think there’s been progress.

You may be wondering about the areas of coverage. Do I plan to cover X technology? What about Y?

Short answer: Yes. I am working on a few content areas behind the scenes.

Anyway, here’s where things are today. Please take a look and let me know what you think.
